Forward Initiatives is a network of 750+ CDFI staff and stakeholders who are focused on advancing community resilience, energy efficient buildings, and clean and affordable energy, especially for low-income communities. Forward Initiatives aims to incorporate a resilience and sustainability lens into how we finance communities.
During monthly meetings, strategy sessions, and virtual & in-person networking events, the Forward Initiatives network shares knowledge, resources, challenges, and opportunities for advancing energy resilience and sustainability in our communities.

Affordable personal loans, credit-building products, and financial counseling
Affordable homeownership, home repairs, and housing development
Funding facilities serving essential community needs
Our next monthly virtual meeting is scheduled for the 2nd week of December.
The annual strategy session is planned for the 2nd week of January.
